I think the another big idea in the story is endure. Many animals laughed at the ugly duckling because of its ugly face, but the ugly duckling didn't hate them. Instead, it moved to other places to live. It knew that the others didn't like it, but it still endured them and tried not to hurt them.

I think this ugly duckling is very magnanimous. If this happen to others, I think the result won't be like this.

I like the word, "magnanimous." It's big - can you say it?
The ugly duckling is very magnanimous, because it didn't hurt the other animals and he just went away without doing anything to the animals. So I think it is very magnanimous.
